Annuetta Young is the pre-closing manger and is responsible for opening all of our files. Annuetta has 10+ years of experience in the title industry as a title examiner/abstractor and a settlement coordinator. She examines all of our new sales contracts and title requests and then enters the relevant information into our databases. Ms. Young also obtains property assessment information and tax information and assists with settlement coordinators duties before the files are given to the assigned settlement coordinator. Catherine Schmitt is a retired U.S. Marine Corps lieutenant and real estate attorney who received her Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School. She holds two bachelor's degrees from the University of Maryland and has more than 20 years of experience in the title insurance business. Ms. Schmitt is also the chief compliance officer at Federal Title.
Chris David a real estate attorney and settlement coordinator at Federal Title & Escrow. He received his Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America and is a member of the Maryland and DC Bars. Prior to joining the Federal Title Team, he practiced real estate litigation at Tobin, O’Connor & Ewing.
David Conforti received his Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law and is a member of the New York and DC bars. He has been a practicing attorney for more than 18 years, focusing primarily on corporate and real estate matters.
Dedra Roberts is the post closing manager and has 20+ years of experience in the title industry — as the office manager and lead title abstractor/examiner for a title abstracting company, a pre-closer, a processor and a settlement agent. With her years of experience and pleasant personality, she assists our purchasers, sellers, agents and lenders with all of their post-closing needs. Jerrika Roberts is a post-closing processor. In her work she searches for releases in closed files and scans them into the Federal Title workflow system when they are completely released. She also mails back original documents to lenders, buyers and sellers.
Joe Gentile is a real estate attorney at Federal Title & Escrow Company. He received his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University and is a member of the Maryland, Montgomery County and Italian-American bar associations. Mr. Gentile has practiced real estate law in the DC metro area since 2000.
Kinshasha Romney holds an associate's degree in psychology from Prince George's Community College, where she graduated with high honors. Ms. Romney is new to the title industry and says she is excited to take on a new challenge. She is a post-closing assistant at Federal Title.
Mahrya O'Connor Delaney supervises all accounting and financial reporting for the company. She's responsible for all cash disbursements, bank reconciliations and post-closing functions relative to accounts receivable and payable.
Melody Blersch has 17 years of experience in the settlement industry as a manager of a settlement company, closing officer, development manager, processor and post closer.
Michelle Mantilla received her B.S. from the University of Maryland at College Park and is a member of the Maryland Land Title Association. She has been abstracting and examining title since 1992 and conducting both residential and commercial settlement transactions since 2000. She is a bilingual (Spanish) settlement agent and processor.
A graduate of Cal State Fullerton, where she served as executive editor of the school's award-winning Daily Titan newspaper, Nikki Smith moved to Washington D.C. in 2006 to take a job as a financial reporter. Since the demise of print, however, Ms. Smith has shifted her focus to the wonderful world of Web. At Federal Title she wears many hats including: copy writer, event planner, media liaison, graphic designer, Web developer and marketing strategist. She is the architect behind federaltitle.com and managing editor of its official blog, the Real Estate Settlement Observer.

Stephanie Dudley received her Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America in 2005 and has been working in the title industry in the dual roles of attorney and settlement processor ever since. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and in her free time volunteers her legal expertise with the Archdiocesan Legal Network of Catholic Community Services.
